Below is a list of the half-breed combinations and their racial modifiers. Only Elves, Humans, and Svaald are capable of interbreeding. Use the below racial modifiers charts as a combination. Each Half-Race gets a choice of two groups of bonuses. One bonus tends to be focused on cultural benefits, while the other is more physical. The elves who later became known as Devinites fled north after the Faerie-Elari wars with their human slaves and established the Duchies of [[Devin]], building a magitech society that is currently the most advanced in the world. They retained whatever magic they had access to and used their knowledge to carve out a life in an inhospitable climate. They eventually interbred with their slaves to the point the entire populace is half-elven. As such, Devinites no longer consider themselves to be wild elves; they are quite civilized and advanced, and rejected the harsh mandates of the Wild Elf Clansmen in regards to sorcery and civilization. Devinites are one of the only races to have airships for example, and also are the origin of the [[Lichborne]]. Devinites have unique racial modifiers as follows:

  • Svaald are immune to natural and magical cold equal to their Rank in Magic

  • +2 Base Channeling, Sorcery, or Magecraft Skill
