Effect	Once per session, when reduced to 0 HP, when you would be captured, or when you wish to vanish from pursuit, you may invoke this power to fake your death or disappearance. Roll Deception + Snake Rank vs. all present observers’ Perception or Sense Motive. On success: You vanish, seemingly destroyed, slain, or lost in the chaos. You may immediately reappear within 30 yards disguised, stealthed, or hidden. If you have an active Cover Identity (e.g., from Silken Ties), you may assume it instantly. Magical senses such as Mage Sight detect only the illusion unless they succeed on a roll vs. your Deception + Snake Rank. Physical inspection may eventually reveal inconsistencies unless you have set the scene (e.g., blood, clothing scraps, decoys). If used while Slippery Mind is active, all observers take –2 to their resistance rolls.
