Effect	The caster may direct this spell at a single target at a time, attempting to read their surface thoughts. Directing the spell toward a target requires an opposed roll vs. Magic Resistance. If the target succeeds to resist the spell, the caster cannot read their thoughts and the spell ends - they may feel something "off," or a brief sensation that someone was watching them. If they witness the spell being cast and they succeed on their save, they may attempt to roll Knowledge: Magic roll to recognize that a spell has been cast upon them. If the target fails their save, the caster is able to read their surface thoughts at will, and may choose to redirect the spell to a new target as a standard action. Each time the spell is redirected, a new opposed roll is required.
