Required Spider Discipline 3
Target Area 1 Target
Range 10 yards
Duration 1 Round
Action Standard
Cost 2 Mana
Effect You exploit an emotional crack, a behavioral instinct, or a sensory blind spot; drawing the target one step closer to their death. Roll Deception + Spider Discipline vs. the target’s Mental Resistance. On success, the target reflexively moves up to half their Speed in a direction of your choosing on their next turn. This movement must remain within line of sight and cannot lead into obvious self-harm (e.g., fire, off a cliff).
  • If the target cannot reach the space, or if they are restrained or immobilized, they instead suffer –2 Perception and –1 Dodge until the end of their next turn as they are distracted by the unseen threat.
  • If the target is affected by Mark of the Spider, they suffer an additional –2d10 when resisting or responding to this effect, as the thread amplifies your pull.
