The caster is able to exert magical influence on mundane fire on an already-burning distinct object - for example, a torch, campfire, or burning shed. The caster may change the pattern and shape or color of the flame, forming it into objects, images or letters, etc. The caster may also change the color of the flame, provided that the desired flame color occurs naturally. At higher Sphere ranks, this influence permits the caster to increase or decrease the brightness, the heat, or the consumption speed of the flames. These attributes may be changed by a factor of Rank. For example, at Rank 2, they may be cut in half or doubled; at Rank 3, they may be cut to a third, or tripled.
