Effect The Shaman or Manifested Fire Spirit leaves a burning trail behind them when they walk to a maximum distance of their movement speed. When running or taking a double move action, the fire will stay within one move increment of the caster. The height of the flames matches the height of the caster or spirit. Each round the flames quickly dissipate, so the caster must continue moving if they want to continue generating fire. The magical flames are extremely hot and will ignite nearby materials causing natural fires which will continue even after the magical fire has moved. This may involve the ground simply smoldering, or dry grass fully igniting at the Storyteller's discretion. Creatures other than the caster adjacent to the flames suffer 1 point of non-lethal damage from the intense heat. A creature that is ringed completely by the flames also suffer the Burning condition. Any creature passing through the flames treat the spaces occupied by the fire as difficult terrain, takes Shamanism + WILL/INT + Fire Spirit Rank in lethal magical damage, and suffers the Burning condition. Ending a turn in the flames will result in the same effect, however Flame Walk may only deal lethal damage to a target once per round. Finally, the shaman may choose to consume their own magical flames to power other spells. Each round the fire trail left by Flame Walk counts as a Large Fire which may be consumed by other Fire Shaman spells. On the following round the Flame Walk continues generating additional fire.
