| Effect | Once per week, the Shaman and totem spirit may complete a ritual that calls out to the spirit’s living kin within range. Rank number of willing animals of the same or similar species as the totem spirit (at the Storyteller’s discretion) may respond to the call. Within the first 24 hours, they travel to the site of the ritual and wait for the shaman to make contact. Any creatures that respond to the call are considered Allies for 1 week, and each may be asked to complete a task for the shaman once per day.
While the effects of the ritual are active, the shaman may freely communicate with the Allied creatures as though utilizing Speak with Animals. |
