   | Effect || This spell may be cast in either of two ways:
|
* '''Bind''' - The channeler throws out a glowing set of chains which whirl around a target, attempting to grapple them in place. The target may make an opposed roll using Unarmed Combat or Escape Artist. If they fail, they are [[Conditions#Grappled|Grappled]] for the remaining duration of the spell. On subsequent turns, they may attempt to break the grapple. If the material is reduced to 0 HP then the grapple immediately ends. The chains have the following stats:
** HP: 2 x Rank
** Defense: Rank armor
** Attack (Grapple): 5d10 + Rank

* '''Leash''' - If the target fails a Magic Resistance roll, a long glowing chain tethers the target to the channeler, preventing the target from moving more than 10 Yards or less from the channeler at the caster's discretion.
