Caster's weapon is imbued with the power to drain targets. The caster may decide when the spell is cast if the weapon will drain either Health (Leech Life) or Mana (Leech Mana). The caster decides which when the spell is cast. On a successful melee attack, the target must make a Magic Resistance roll against the caster's Seed: Drain cast roll. If they fail, they lose 1 point of Health, or 1 point of Mana, and the caster gains the amount lost. A target may only be drained in this manner once per round. Leech Life may not be used on Undead or Constructs, as they do not have life energy to drain.
''Example'': Malatar imbues his Stygian greatsword with Leech Life. During a battle he makes a Sweeping Strike which hits three guards. Each guard must resist the leech, or Malatar heals 3 lethal damage, and the guards each take 1 additional damage on top of the attack.

Example: Malatar imbues his Stygian greatsword with Leech Life. During a battle he makes a Sweeping Strike which hits three guards. Each guard must resist the leech, or Malatar heals 3 lethal damage, and the guards each take 1 additional damage on top of the attack.
