Bordered by the Azure Ocean to the north and the river Fasalshudon to its south, Syr has docks on both the river and ocean sides. The southernmost of the Free Cities, it is the third most populous, with marshland, swamps, and the river delta preventing significant growth of the metropolitan area outside the city.
