With towering black walls arcing around it and the imposing Black Spire of Sudreth soaring from its center, "The Black City" of Syr is the southernmost of the [[Free Cities]].
Bordered by the Blue Ocean to the north and the river Fasalshudon to its south, Syr has docks on both the river and ocean sides. It is the third most populous of the Free Cities, with marshland, swamps, and the river delta preventing significant growth of the metropolitan area outside the city.

Towering black walls, arc around the city, it is bordered by water on two sides, it sits at is where the river Fasalshudon meets the ocean/the Straight of Oenesh.  Black Spire (the Spire of Sudreth) sits at the center of the city, towering above the city. Has docks on both the river side and the Firth side.  Is the most populous of the free cities.  Temple to Sudreth is set into the center of outer ring wall.  There is much marshland, and swamps along with the river delta surrounding the city.
