Effect This Aimed spell draws a chunk of earth out of nearby ground and hurls it towards a target in an attack dealing damage with a Casting roll that may be modified by targets' Physical Defense but ignores their Dodge. The type of damage and any additional effect will depend on the type of earth used.
Earth Type Range Effect
Sand Rank x 5 yards Target takes non-lethal damage. Additionally, after damage is dealt, the target is partially blinded and suffers a -4 penalty to Skill checks requiring sight for 2 rounds. The target may spend a Standard or Move action to clear their eyes on their turn.
Dirt, Earth Rank x 5 yards Clumps of dirt and small stones shoot forward at the target, dealing lethal piercing damage.
Shale, Sandstone, Limestone Rank x 10 yards A single, sharp chunk of rock is propelled at the target dealing lethal slashing damage.
Granite, Marble Rank x 10 yards A chunk of hardened stone is propelled at the target, dealing lethal crushing damage as well as 1 additional non-lethal damage.
