The Summon Seed is perhaps the most high-risk, high reward Seed available to Sorcerers. When successful, Summoners may call upon powerful Outsiders and bind them to their will; however, should they fail to properly bind an Outsider, they run the risk of being attacked and their surroundings destroyed. Whole villages have been leveled by a summoning gone wrong. In places such as The Free Cities, those who are capable of Summoning are highly regulated in what they are and are not able to do.

Favored Seed: Sorcerers with a Chosen Plane of Pandemonium gain +1d10 on all spells from this Seed.

Rank Name Description
1 Familiar The caster may perform a small ritual to summons and bind a Rank 1 Outsider to their service as a Familiar. The familiar must be from the same plane the caster draws their power from.
2 Summon Outsider Caster may attempt to summon an Outsider and temporarily bind them to their will.
3 Banish Caster may attempt to force an outsider to return to its home plane.
4 Black Book The caster may summon specific types of Outsiders.
5 Unrelenting Bonds The caster may extend their control indefinitely.


Fusion Spells: These spells are available with the required Ranks from both listed Seeds.

Required Ranks Name Description
Compel 3, Summon 2 Planar Possession Suppresses the target’s mind, supplanting it with a planar entity under your control.
Summon 3, Drain 2 Life Link Damage dealt to the caster is instead dealt to the summon.
