Knowledge Skill

Representing book or book-like knowledge, this skill has multiple established subtypes. Not all Knowledge subtypes are predefined, in fact, any topic not listed here may be selected as a chosen subtype with approval from the Storyteller. Each Knowledge subtype must be purchased and ranked up separately, allowing for as many subtypes of knowledge as the character would like to pursue.

Subtype	Area of coverage
Academics	Modern knowledge including recent history, government, nature, and geography.
Ancient History	Chronological history of Lorithandar through the ages. May be biased by racial or geo-policial background.
Draconic	The dragons of Lorithandar, their types, general aspects, behaviors, and limited recent history.
Magic	Magic and Ley lines, spell effects and spell construction.
Nautical	Maritime skills such as proper maintenance and operation of water-based vessels, navigation by the stars, fishing, tying knots, etc.
Planar	Knowledge of the planes: Pandemonium, Aaru, Acadia, Stygia, Outer Wild. Mechanus is excluded from this knowledge set.
Religion	Knowledge of church history, general precepts, dogmas, catechisms, symbols, etc. for religion orders in Lorithandar

Unique Knowledge Skills

Some knowledge is extremely rare and may only be utilized in certain regions of the world where it is available with Storyteller approval.
