The caster gains the ability to see heat signatures within their line of sight, providing a +1 Proficiency bonus to Perception and Search skill checks when checking for/opposing objects or creatures that give off heat. This bonus increases to +2 at Rank 3, and then to +3 at Rank 5. Storytellers should be aware of what generates heat and relatively how much. Heat signatures are not detectable through solid objects, however they may subtly heat those objects within reason, which would be detectable.
