| Effect | Shaman and manifested earth spirit complete a ritual granting the spirit an ability that it may use in times of need. As a Standard Action, the spirit may dig deep into the earth and draw on its power, rooting itself in place and growing dramatically in size. While so fortified, the spirit gains 1 size category, which in this case provides only a +1 bonus to Health. Additionally, the spirit gains +2 Magic Damage Reduction and +2 Vigor. Its speed is reduced to 0, however it is not considered flat-footed and the Reach of its melee attacks is extended by 2 yards.
While rooted, the spirit may spend a Full Round to attack two targets in melee range with a -4 penalty to each attack. The manifested spirit may become mobile once more as a Standard action, giving up the applicable bonuses and penalties in the process. |
