Effect | The caster unleashes a deadly beam of planar energy which deals Willpower + Sorcery + Seed: Energy lethal damage, and applies the elemental effect to anybody passing through or struck by the beam. The beam persists for as long as the caster concentrates or Rank rounds have passed. Mana is only spent and Backlash applied when the spell is initially cast, however the beam continues dealing damage according to the initial cast. A target moving through a square with the beam may evade the beam by spending double movement to duck or jump over it. The caster may move the beam in one direction once per round without breaking concentration, dealing damage to all targets struck. If a target is slain by the beam, the next target in the path of the beam takes damage immediately. |
