Climbing involves vertical movement up surfaces with sufficient handholds that they might be scaled. As part of a Move action, a successful Athletics roll allows a character to move vertically at half of their movement speed. Each Move Action requires its own Athletics roll. Climbing equipment such as a specialized climbing kit, claws, or ice-axe may provide an equipment bonus to this skill. (normally +1 or +2 depending on the quality of the equipment)
