Developing the Climb skill allows characters to travel vertically up surfaces with sufficient handholds that they might be scaled. As part of a Move action, a successful Climb roll allows a character to move vertically at half speed. Each Move Action requires its own Climb roll. Developing the Athletics skill allows characters to do various actions that require physical strength, such as pushing, pulling, jumping, pole-vaulting, climbing, etc. at the discretion of the Storyteller.

Climbing

Climbing involves vertical movement up surfaces with sufficient handholds that they might be scaled. As part of a Move action, a successful Athletics roll allows a character to move vertically at half of their movement speed. Each Move Action requires its own Athletics roll. Climbing equipment such as a specialized climbing kit, claws, or ice-axe may provide an equipment bonus to this skill. (normally +1 or +2 depending on the quality of the equipment)
