The caster may perform a ritual which summons and binds a Rank 1 Outsider to their service as a Familiar. The familiar must be from the same plane the caster draws their power from. This binding is permanent, and does not count towards the Summon Outsider manifest limit. If the familiar is killed, they are banished to their home plane for 24 hours. If they are slain on their home plane, the caster may summon a replacement by initiating another 10-minute ritual.
